Overview
Visor offers various ways to export your data and share it externally.
In this article, we’l take a look at how to export to different formats.
Export to spreadsheet
Exporting to a data format is easy:
- Open the File menu
- Click on Export View, and
- Click on Spreadsheet (.csv)
That’s it! You’ll have a complete export of all your data from the workbook.
All data is exported into a tabular format, regardless of which view you were in.
Records hidden due to filters or levels shown appear in the exported spreadsheet.
Export to image
Exporting to an image format is easy:
- Open the File menu
- Click on Export View, and
- Click on Image (.jpg) or Image (.png)
That’s it! You’ll have an image export of your data from the view tab you’re in.
Only visible records will be exported to an image.
Image sizes vary based on your browser window dimensions.
Export to PDF
Exporting to PDF is easy:
- Open the File menu
- Click on Export View, and
- Click on Adobe (.pdf)
That’s it! You’ll have a PDF export of your data from the view tab you’re in.
Only visible records will be exported to PDF.

Embed Visor
Embedding Visor in external apps (like Confluence) is easy:
- Open the File menu
- Click on Embed to open the embedding modal
- Click on the “copy” icon in the Embed link field
- Visit any app that allows you to embed iFrames
- Paste in the embed link, and
- Save + publish your work
That’s it! You’ll have a fully functioning embedded Visor Workbook in your external app.
Make sure you configure a width of at least 1280px, and a height of at least 685px to ensure that Visor works correctly.
