Highlights
A new and simplified version of formatting makes it easier to know what fields are driving the colors of your Gantt and Timeline bars. We’re also introducing the “Auto-format” button to make it easy to add color to fields with many options.
Change Log
New
- The updated formatting user interface includes changes to the formatting menu in the navigation bar where you only need to select the field you want to format. We also added a new formatting menu within View Settings – the new view setting will let you choose which field’s colors you want to apply to the bars in your Gantt and Timeline views. You’ll also be able to see which field you chose without needing to click into the menu to do so. Think of it as a mini-legend! And last but not least, we’re adding a couple of bulk options to make it easy to clear or format all your choices with one click.
- We are deprecating functionality related to toggling grid formatting on and off. From now on, any formatting that you configure on for your field choices will appear on any table-style views you have. Learn more about formatting in our knowledge base.
Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the column header menus remained open while you were dragging them.
- Fixed a bug where the Gantt divider was offset when the Find menu was open.
