New

  • Import flow language updates - We made our language and in-product descriptions of our “Maintain Nesting” feature a little more consistent so you can better understand what is actually happening with respect to nesting. Instead of “Flattening” the data, we’re in fact just Ignoring the Nesting from Jira (which allows you to nest Issues however you see fit!). We hope these updates allow more people to find/use custom nesting within Visor as it unlocks some cool workflows and organization styles that aren’t possible in other products.
  • Minor Performance Improvements - We still have a lot of performance work underway, but we released some fixes to make the no-code import process a little smoother.

Fixes

  • Export - Did you know our export feature started out as a weekend project by our founder? That’s right! And it served us pretty well up until we recently discovered it was not playing nicely with certain Jira fields (or Safari 😡 ). Specifically the Jira team field was causing issues for exporting. We’ve since resolved those issues and tightened up the export flows in our code to make sure you really can take your Visor views anywhere. We also have some more enhancements to Export on the way in the medium term, so keep an eye out!
  • Chat button blocks action buttons - We got a few reports that the Support Chat button (while super useful normally) was in fact blocking important buttons in the lower right corner of our integration modals. We’ve updated our margins to make sure this is no longer an issue and you can access everything you need.

Each release may consist of multiple deployments. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@visor.us.
